Web Development & Management

My first-ever Blog Post

So… where do I start? It’s been a long time since I did anything even remotely like ‘blogging’, although I’ve been responsible for uploading content to the internet for a few years now so how hard can it be, right?

I digress, I thought it would be fun to make the first blog post a ‘welcome to my new site’ kind of article. So here goes…

I’m trying to get some clients who either already own websites that need enhancements/managing or want websites creating so that I can work from home during the day. Why? In essence, because the other half wants a Dog and I’ve promised her that we can have one if I can work from home. Soft touch? Maybe. Looking forward to the challenge? Definitely!

I’ve worked in web for a few years now and done all sorts from E-mail marketing right through to SOAP Web Service integration (for those that think I’m talking about personal hygiene here, just ignore that part, I’m not). Basically, if you need a website making or looking after, I’m your man.

So that I can really start to get the ball rolling I’m going to make my rates for my first few clients super-low. I have a few clients already and I’ve never had a complaint from them so I must be doing alright, but I need more, possibly you?

If you run a business and haven’t already got a website, Facebook page or Twitter account; you are missing out! You have options… keep going as you are or develop further. For me that’s a no brainer as I’m a big believer that ‘anything that exists can be made better’. Compared with advertising in magazines / newspapers or via leafletting, having a presence on the web is an absolute bargain in my eyes. Give me a try, you’ll be surprised at how much you can achieve with relatively little spend. Contact me here.
